Stephen Colbert coined the term on The Colbert Report, and oh, how right he was.
Fifty days in, the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico has achieved both “worst natural disaster” and “most talked about news story” status. It’s a PR team’s worst nightmare, and the people working for BP are struggling to stem the flow of bad messaging.

This was my first year attending ICFF and what an eye opening experience it was.From great designs to just flat-out great ideas, the fair was filled with exciting products.

How do you translate Brooklyn – a cultural phenomenon and perhaps the most copied location in the world (bold, I know) – and take that style into home furnishings? BKLYN Designs sought out a cross section of BKLYN’s top talent and put it on display in St. Ann’s Warehouse.
With little sense of irony, these designs spoke to sophistication and good old-fashioned green building. The kids from the famous borough really ramped it up this year.
