Just how powerful is the perfect marriage of the visual and the verbal? One of the things about great design that never ceases to amaze me is its ability to elicit a range of emotions, from sheer joy to melancholy, and every possible feeling in between.

As expected, Super Bowl Sunday turned out to be exciting to watch, but I can’t say the same for the advertisements that were featured during the commercial breaks.
One reason for the lack of excitement could be that the media coverage this year revealed too much of a sneak peek and viewers already knew what was coming.

Many of us will gather with friends and family this Sunday to watch the New Orleans Saints take on the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLIV.
It’s time to pull out those office pools, lay out a delicious spread of buffalo wings, chips and dip, sit back and take part in what has been called the biggest social occasion of the year.
