A Joyous Announcement from the DMD Lab

Posted by Melanie Bender on December 23 at 2:21 PM
We are thrilled to introduce our 6 finalists for the DMD Lab, our new pro bono project partnering with emerging fashion designers to help the seriously talented become seriously successful.

The program received an overwhelming response with over 70 designers aplying to be considered for the first cycle of the DMD Lab. In January, we’ll be moving forward with 3 designers who over the next 8 – 12 months will receive - at no cost to them - strategic consult, graphic design expertise and public relations support to establish their brands among industry influencers including fashion editors, stylists and key stakeholders.

Alkemie

Designer Bio: With Alkemie jewelry, husband-and-wife design team Ashley Lowengrub and Dara Gerson have perfected the art of transforming something common into something precious. Environmentally responsible and stylishly eclectic, Alkemie is forged from 100% reclaimed metals and combines nature-inspired figures with inventive details. The Steven & William, and the Eko- lab designs are refreshingly stylish and different!

Posted by Stephen on December 23 at 8:52 PM

I'm really down with sustainable fashion -- I saw Eko-Lab at fashion week, and their designs were all exciting, unique, and ahead of the times. I love the eclectic nature of their work.

Posted by Josephine on December 23 at 9:06 PM

I just saw Eko Lab collection for the first time last week and walked out of the store with 4 pieces! They are a very talented group and I am happy to join any free PR campaign involving Eko Lab...

Posted by Sanem on December 23 at 10:03 PM

Eko-Lab does not only show innovative fashion, it supports a cause! I admire them to be creating history.

Posted by Anna on December 24 at 5:17 AM

The designers of Eko-Lab have led the charge in refining and re-defining sustainable fashion since the very beginning. They do not sacrifice style at the alter of sustainability, but rather push the envelope from a design perspective. The visceral quality of the pieces makes each a treasure. I have followed their work since the Art Fiend days, and when I wear a piece from one of these designers I feel like I am part of a clandestine fashion tribe.

Posted by Meg on December 24 at 9:00 AM

I agree with Anna. Eko-Lab's conscientious approach to fashion makes them unique and interesting. Their designs are not just cool and innovative, they have heart. That puts them head and shoulders above so many others around them.

Posted by Raj on December 24 at 10:00 AM

Steven & William have the most fresh and creative concepts with artistic expression at their core. I saw their work at the Cooper Hewitt... a passionate process is quite evident in what they create. You won't come across anything else like it.

Posted by Sue on December 24 at 10:07 AM

I love Eko-Lab's designs. Truly inspiring and ahead of the pack!

Posted by Chris on December 24 at 10:53 AM

Pretty amazing group of designers to choose from. It'll be exciting to see what each of them put forward this year. I'm drawn to Steven & William's work - there's a unique approach/inspiration there that seems very relevant today.

eko lab design: clean and beautiful

Posted by chuck on December 24 at 11:40 AM

a wonderful group of cutting edge fashion and design work. they all exhibit such attention to detail and have very strong visions. this is a great project you guys have launched and will provide a great resource for these designers. i personally love the depth and complexity of the LADD brothers, whose range of high-end wearable accessories to collectible museum quality installations, embody the contemporary creative spirit. i love the original use of diverse materials and the exquisite combining of colors and textures.

Posted by henry on December 24 at 2:25 PM

Very cool idea. Looked at all 6 of their websites -- a great way to see more from each. I like Leyendecker with the clothes (fall 08) and loved the Steven and William stuff. Liked how they showed the work to me with the video.

Posted by doug on December 24 at 5:02 PM

I'm so excited for Eko-Lab. All the artists in the co-op are so talented and amazing people. I've been a fan for quite some time, green living is the only way to go!

Posted by kristin k on December 24 at 7:00 PM

Alkemie rocks my world...I have a bunch of their stuff and I want more, especially because all my friends covet my stuff and I feel generous, and then I need more. It looks amazing on its own, and even better in layers. It bridges a modern/antique aesthetic gracefully, and also manages to dress both up and down without a problem.

Posted by Sibyl Buck on December 24 at 8:28 PM

Eko-Lab is not only on the forefront of fashion, but also the environment. Its Hard enough to make great looking pieces and to do it while staying green is what puts them over the top.

Posted by SSG Matt Baker on December 24 at 8:30 PM

I am so happy to see EKO-LAB here! I knew those girls at the old AFF! They were amazing then and unbelieveable now!!!

Posted by Jeremy on December 24 at 8:54 PM

Alkemie rocks all the way around. How cool is it to melt down bullet casings and turn them into something so beautiful? Talk about total transformation! This stuff is very inspirational and I feel beautiful when I wear it! Thank you Dara and Ashley!

Posted by Kristin Petrelluzzi on December 24 at 11:07 PM

Alkemie combines a lifetime love of jewelry and adornment with cutting edge style, nature, spirit and total sustainability. I love every piece I own and get comments all day when I wear anything Alkemie...its like the spirit and intention of the line ooze through the style. It just feels different and looks amazing-day or night. Alkemie all the way...

Posted by Kim Hoffman on December 25 at 12:01 AM

EKO-LAB is very different in my opinion.....each designer has there own distinct flavor with no bitter after taste!!!!! You can feel the difference wearing organic fabric, its like a pure breath of fresh air against your skin. I wish the Eko-Lab team luck, they truly deserve it.

Posted by Barbara Coyle on December 25 at 2:19 AM

Alkemie's hamsa necklace is one of my favorite pieces from the line...in fact I had it on last night! The unknown history of the reclaimed metal intrigues me. I also love their snake and leather wrap bracelet...it is edgy and very hip. Their screw lock piece for a man is totally sexy. This design team has all the elements!

Posted by Kristin Petrelluzzi on December 25 at 10:19 AM

I work across the street from Eko-Lab and all day long look at their amazing window display. I really love the uniqueness inside their clothing with every designer creating something completely un-uniform from the next, yet bringing it all together with a a softness in earth friendly clothing. I think it is very important that we consider the fair trade element going further in fashion as it will become an extension of how we value ourselves and also our surroundings. Awesome job Eko-Lab!

Posted by Tina Lovely on December 26 at 10:18 AM

Wearing jewelry and saving our natural resources at the same time were incompatible activities until Alkemie introduced it's line of stylish jewelry made from 100% reclaimed metals. The designers have brought looking good and feeling good to a new level!

Posted by Jim Gerson on December 26 at 11:16 AM

I was asked to explain why I liked the Steven & William and the Eko-Lab selections. I liked how the Williams line seemed to blend the conceptual with the emotional. I thought that that was pretty cool.

Regarding the Eko-Lab line, I liked how the line focused on sustainable fashion that is actually realistically wearable (as opposed to a Carmen Miranda hat of bananas for example). It seemed to do kind of what Whole Foods did in food, to blend the healthy organic enviromentally friendly foods with the high end gourmet palates at prices that are nowhere near a Dean & Deluca for example. Affordable, sustainable and yet stylish and chique; that is what struck me regarding the Eko-Lab line.

Definately gemma redux--unique not just for jewelry but for fashion in general.

Posted by paul b. on December 26 at 9:14 PM

Gemma Redux's line is great. It is unique and innovative!!!

Posted by Seth on December 26 at 9:20 PM

Gemma Redux has a plethora of innovative and compelling designs. I admire the thick yet lanky chains and vintage feel that seem to be a theme throughout their collection. Not to mention that nearly every piece has some sort of eccentric focal point. Each piece is a statement and can transform any outfit with subtlety.

Posted by Angie on December 26 at 10:59 PM

Gemma Redux Jewelry is absolutely astonishing. It mixes gorgeous stones and industrial metals to create a amazing pieces. Every piece has a unique quality and you really feel like it was made just for you. The jewelry has this precious yet tough look to it which is awesome for a girl with a little spunk. Anyone who hasn't bought a piece yet has to get one! Even though they are a bit pricey it is worth every penny. My vote is GEMMA REDUX!!!!

Posted by Gabrielle on December 27 at 1:15 AM

My vote is for Gemma Redux! Their pieces are unique!

Posted by Su on December 27 at 6:13 AM

Wow. What a great selection to choose from! Congratulations to all of these designers. If I have to pick just one, my heart is with Rachel Dooley's Gemma Redux line because the pieces are so versatile. The mixed metals and organically shaped gemstones are great for day and night, and complement any outfit from jeans and t-shirt to business attire or a cocktail dress.

Posted by erin on December 27 at 7:27 AM

One look at Rachel Dooley's Gemma Redux and you will see she is indeed "seriously talented". I am in awe of any gal that can pull these artistic designs from a highly analytic and reasoned lawyer mind! Her pieces are unmatched - I am always on the hunt for cool jewelry designers and Gemma Redux's pieces are my favorite hands down. When I wear a Gemma piece I am ready to take on the world! Beautiful, edgy, versatile, innovative, organic - the adjectives go on and on. This gal deserves to be "seriously successful" - DMD its up to you!

Posted by Kristin on December 27 at 8:39 AM

Gemma has a passionate following. Having met the designer, she brings this passion to every piece. Many seem designed especially for you. I'm looking forward to the new collection -- and maybe adding another piece to my wardrobe!!! Go Gemma Redux!

Gemma Redux necklaces are incredible! They're so fun and different, I wear them with everything!

Posted by Erin on December 27 at 10:12 AM

What the Alkemie line has been able to accomplish in a short period of time is truly nothing short of amazing....In my view they are busy transforming the whole notion of design and value in contemporary culture. Alkemie is doing on a micro level what our entire culture is striving to do on the macro level, to find ways in which we might utilize the abundance of resources around us to both create beauty and satisfy needs without depletion or destruction of the integrity of the whole system. True innovators, my choice is Alkemie.

Posted by Mathew on December 27 at 10:33 AM

Gemma Redux- edgy. I bought one for my wife. Every time she wears it, some random person stops her to ask her about it.

Posted by PJ on December 27 at 10:35 AM

I'm a huge fan of Gemma Redux, they offer not only amazing contemporary styles that can be admired an worn by people of all styles and cultures, but they also offer some of the greatest customer service. Redux's combination of hardware and natural accents makes for a truly unique look and every piece is a signature style of its own. I am certain the brand will continue to develop and leave a lasting impression on the fashion culture!

Posted by AnjeA on December 27 at 11:02 AM

EkoLab makes such beautiful, unique clothing!! Their high quality materials and amazing designs leave me feeling as though they have customized their clothing for each customer. Each designer is so creative! Melissa's designs honestly transform the woman who wears them! good work!!!

Posted by Kathryn on December 27 at 11:35 AM

alkemie - it's original, classic beauty--it draws me in and I feel I want to give it to my wife. A wonderful direction in the new age of jewelry.

I compliment Ashley Lowengrub and Dara Gerson. They have a rare talent that.

Best of luck for a sparkling future,

Ed

Posted by ed shapiro on December 27 at 11:55 AM

I love the powerful primitive aesthetic of Alkemie and I was blown away by the overall elegance and presentation of Steven and William - very tough decision, best of luck to all of the designers.

Posted by Sharon Lewis on December 27 at 12:15 PM

Rachel clearly has a passion and desire to create statement pieces that any woman can wear. I'm not a necklace woman, but the Serena necklace (http://www.gemmaredux.com/collection/2008-3/necklace/) is divine! Serena makes my jeans and tank sexy, she also makes my teacher outfits classy. Cheers to Gemma Redux for being innovative, creative, and versatile.

Posted by Elizabeth on December 27 at 12:21 PM

Gemma Redux and Rachel Dooley get my vote!

Posted by Kathy on December 27 at 12:47 PM

Gemma Redux is the best, hands down!

Posted by margery on December 27 at 12:54 PM

Alkemie is the best! I love their work! So beautiful

Posted by Mark on December 27 at 12:57 PM

Alkemie is an absolutely beautiful line - AND made with reclaimed metals? The mining industry is one of the nastiest out there in terms of the environment, and Alkemie truly walks the talk by leading the way towards combining fashion, funk, and conscious consumerism.

Posted by Pippa on December 27 at 12:59 PM

I love Gemma Redux-the blend of hard industrial chains mixed with delicate natural elements such as rocks, minerals, feathers, and ribbon make sensational jewelry that is cutting edge. Gemma Redux has made me realize that jewlery can unique.

Posted by Annie on December 27 at 1:07 PM

Start with responsible and innovative sourcing then create something both modern and edgy, and classic: Alkemie! I love the line.

Gemma Redux is unlike any other jewelry available. The style and unique pieces speak for themself. Rachel uses her creativity with unique stones, feathers, metals etc. to give a natural beauty to each and every piece. I have heard many conversations start from people just asking about the unique pieces. Love you Gemma Redux/Rachel!!

Gemma Redux has fabulously sophisticated jewelry, perfect for pairing with any outfit, no matter how casual or dressy! I shared my love for their collection with several friends, who have also joined the bandwagon!

Posted by Deanna on December 27 at 4:09 PM

Alkemie has been a longtime favorite of mine. Alkemie was ahead of the curve on sustainability when they launched, and industry-wide, they remain ahead of the curve on style. Their nouveau motifs make for absolute classics. Love em!

Posted by JennBreck on December 27 at 4:55 PM

Alkemie! Alkemie! From the first time I saw their signature piece, the stingray cuff, you could see that Alkemie was in a category of their own and doing truly great design.

Posted by Scott on December 27 at 5:20 PM

Rarely buy jewelry, as in my sixth decade of life I usually feel I have enough, but Alkemie's designs made me covet a new bracelet as never before!

Posted by Darcy Phillips on December 27 at 6:13 PM

I read this rather in-depth article filled with images of Steven and William's work - I guess about a year ago. I remember thinking how entirely fresh and unique the work was - completely free of any fashion or art reference known to me. Their ideas flowed from their heads and their hearts - simple as that. Would love to see more of their work in the future.

Posted by Barry on December 27 at 6:31 PM

Alkemie is such an inspiring combination of wearable art and a passion for doing so in a sustainable and conscious way. Seeing a line such as Alkemie really makes me question why I would even consider spending money on any accessories that aren't focussed on my true values of environmental preservation. Thank you Alkemie, I look forward to all that your vision is creating for the rest of the jewelry industry.

Posted by mia matthews on December 27 at 9:42 PM

ALKEMIE / ALKEMIE / ALKEMIE I can't stop saying it!

Fashion forward, affordable, everyday wearable pieces that everyone loves!

Dara and Ashley are truly amazing designers and people and shows in their jewelry.

Posted by Jeremy Auslander on December 27 at 9:50 PM

I love Gemma Redux. I have received more compliments on my Gemma Redux bracelet and necklace than for any other pieces of jewelry I own. Rachel's pieces are beautiful, original, and sexy - I feel great when I wear them.

Posted by Meredith Jones on December 27 at 9:58 PM

I'm all for Alkemie! This line is edgy and eco (all at once) and the designs keep surprising me in their originality. How great of DMD to consider helping grow a brand with such great vision.

Posted by Blue on December 27 at 11:19 PM

I think Gemma Redux jewelry is head and shoulders above the others in terms of originality, I love how well the designs compliment the natural materials, there is something very sexy about the use of so much fluid chain, really beautiful and really clever designs, exactly what I look for in fashion and jewelry. Stunning.

Posted by Angelola on December 28 at 7:48 AM

Eko-Lab EkoLab makes high quality unique clothing. They are definitely in touch with the importance of environmental preservation in their utilization of materials in the creation of enduring fashionable items.

Posted by Lisa on December 28 at 1:47 PM

Alkemie has my vote! What a fantastic concept- to combine sustainability, great design, affordability, and cutting edge fashion all into one great line- WOW! Every time I wear my Alkemie pieces I get tons of compliments and people want to know where they can get it, especially the leather snake wrap bracelet, the spoon ring, the cuff bracelet, and the belts. Thank you Dara and Ashley for giving us fashion that we can afford, with a conscience! I will love my Alkemie pieces for a long, long time.

Posted by Susie on December 28 at 2:02 PM

In sustainability, one of the most important and impactful actions is not using new resources. The process to procure new resources, esp. metal, is energy and water intensive, wasteful and most of the time - mined under unsafe conditions. This is the reason I am supporting Alkemie - the concept and practice of reusing materials to make unusual and exquisite jewelery at affordable prices is sustainability in its best form.

Posted by Ellisa on December 28 at 3:39 PM

All of these are fantastic choices, but Gemma Redux takes the cake. Everything is stunning and dramatic; one piece turns an outfit from plain to fabulous. The combination of organic and industrial materials feels so of the moment and just right for every occasion. I love Gemma Redux!

Posted by Stephanie P on December 28 at 6:43 PM

I have been a huge fan of Gemma Redux for a while and I love the fact that the designer started out as an attorney but makes these gorgeous pieces of wearable art. I think the gunmetal chains mixed with geodes and really special gems gives it a tough-but-sweet appeal. I have never seen a piece of Gemma Redux jewelry I haven't wanted to purchase. I hope they win. The line is just amazing.

Posted by Kristin on December 28 at 8:02 PM

I LOVE GEMMA Redux! Thank you!!!!

Leyendecker: I really love the fall 2008 pieces. I love the pictures. The way they're lit, the model and her hair and poses -- like a ballerina, so still feminine, but slightly harder and darker. These things add to the impact, and they flesh out the aesthetic that this line represents. I would love to walk into a party and see this girl. Young, but sophisticated and fashionable. It's far afield from a cursive cheeky phrase on the butt of a pair of pants -- and that's a good thing.

I had one problem, though. There are too many names -- and those names are of prominent people and artists far more well known and easier to remember than the name of the line. It seems cluttered if you have a Jasper shirt, a Freida skirt, and a Koons sweater. The line is understated, but the branding of these really charming and attractive clothes seems overdone.

Steven and William: I was watching a Sundance Channel documentary on Ralph Rucci before I checked out all six of these designers' websites. When you see the bags in the Shadow Tower collection (particularly starting with the lefthand shot of the second bag) you see such craftsmanship. It looks like architecture and is definitely art. But I can see that bag in the hands of a couture buying client. Or paired with the structured but un-stodgy elegance of your client Narcisco Rodriguez.

The work in the photos is so moving. I'm a man and I care nothing about handbags. That's why it was cool to see that the impact of the work is bigger and more evocative, more affecting than a purse. Beauty is cool in whatever form -- and these things are truly beautiful.

The website has audio of them talking and has the video and has such great + simple pictures. And all these things explode off of the screen and create the undeniable impression that this stuff is crafted and exquisite and art, but is still accessible. Having seen what's shown, I want to know what's in that book (pic 9 of 9 of Shadow Tower). And their designers' statement ("STATEMENT" under "about") shows me that they can express themselves and their work not only in it's medium, and in the interview from Cooper-Hewitt, but in writing as plain and tightly crafted as their work.

I understand there is huge money in accessories. No doubt couture buying women will want these items. If these designers can translate their vision and obvious talent into non-couture accessories (like they can into prose or web-design), then I figure they could have such great success.

And lastly on both: Both Leyendecker and Steven and William's work have modern, forward-looking, and responsible design and consumption philosophies. But neither leans to heavily on it. They offer something people would want (like a diamond) without having bad or nasty things (like blood diamonds) attached to it. To me, that would help a consumer or a fan believe in these designers as people who believe beautiful can be gotten kindly.

But if you rely too much on eco-sustainable-local-green-friendly- etc, someone who might be motivated to buy your stuff might find another way to fulfill that need to take actions in accordance with their philosophy. When eco is the motivator, a unique piece of clothes or jewelry may find itself with lots of competition -- competition not from other jewelry or clothes, but from charities, free-range/sustainable food, concerts, etc.

Posted by Doug on December 28 at 8:03 PM

I absolutely love jewelry of all kinds, but Gemma Redux has to be one of the most unique and eye catching pieces that I have ever seen. Her jewelry makes a definite statement!

Posted by Rita on December 28 at 8:05 PM

I'm writing to put in my vote for Gemma Redux; they're smart, stylish, conscious, luxurious without being obnoxious. So impressive!

Thanks for what you do.

Posted by Britta on December 28 at 8:05 PM

The innovation, creativity, wearability, and universal appeal of Gemma Redux wins my vote. Clothes don't make the outfit work, accessories do!

Posted by Elizabeth on December 28 at 8:06 PM

I would like to take this opportunity to express EKO-LAB, as my favorite of the 6 finalist. Being a designer, specializing in light weight, sustainable Architecture, have much interest to see sustainable fashion go mainstream. Keep up the good work.

I have an unending trust for the women of Larsen Gray. For me they're the independent lighthouse protecting those into fashion from smashing upon the rocks of mainstream design and from drowning in a sea of redundant ideas.

Plus their work is captivating, their talent is undeniable and their spirit and creativity burn stronger than the fires of hell. (Yeah, they're THAT good.)

They get my vote in a heartbeat.

Gemma Redux is one of the most original and innovative design to hit the jewelry scene. I have clients who submit five hundred jewelry designs everyday, but I have never seen anything like Gemma Redux. Gemma Redux pieces juxtapose beautiful, unique stones with chunky metals. The designer plays with fun colors, lengths, and methods of combining the chains to allow the person wearing her pieces to boast a truly unique look! I like wearing Gemma pieces because I know that I am also supporting a woman who assembles her product in the U.S. and sources many of her components domestically.

Gemma Redux: I like that the pieces are handmade by Rachel and the materials used are local. As a working mother I can add a little flare to surbarban living and can carry it over to the workplace in the city. Rachel is so successful in turning the metals into a feminine look.

I received an amwazing Alkemie ring from Dara as a gift and I wear it all the time. It is one of the coolest gifts I have ever received. I am constantly asked about the piece and where it came from. The originality and timelessness of the collection is...as my British friends would say "spot on".

when i first stumbled onto alkemie jewelry, i fell instantly in love! the whole recycled element is the earth friendly side of it, but the styles are amazing & dara & ashley are some of the most beautiful people inside & out that i've had the pleasure of meeting! i'm always so anxious to see what they come up with next, and every time i wear something by them, i get a ton of compliments! men love my skull bracelet and shark tooth necklace, and women flip over dara's one of a kind pieces . & i love reading about them in eco-friendly blogs. they really came up with a terrific concept and i see it lasting for a very long time!!! the future in antique jewelry!

Posted by paige on January 2 at 7:39 PM

I have loved Alkemie jewelry from its very start! The organic designs of Dara and Ashley truly exemplify laid back and social awareness chic. Not only do I wear Alkemie jewelry but I also believe in it its progressive example.

Posted by Catrinel on January 3 at 12:05 AM

Many Mahalos to Alkemie for making a conscious choice to use 100% reclaimed metals to create this jewelry. This is an example for all of us to observe and follow as we create in our own lives...... Dara and Ashley are groovin

Aloha from Kailua Town

Alkemie is the only choice here. All 6 contenders are good but Alkemie shows ahead of them all. Thank you Alkemie for creating beautiful jewelry.

Posted by Niki W on January 3 at 1:42 AM

Alkemie comes from the heart with style. A tough thing to do in this day and age. It makes me feel good, and look good. Alkemie is great jewelry, and a great conversation starter. Equally stylish for Men and Women....also not small trick.

A solid vote for Larsen Gray! The line looks realistic for the office, as well as fun and eco-chic. I'd love to have some pieces in my wardrobe!

Posted by Jenni on January 5 at 1:46 PM

I have beef with the designers at EKO-lab! My GF is obsessed with their designs and it's dampening our domestic relations! Every weekend she piles me into their studio to find the new "IT" item while I casually pretend I am not a permanent hanger for her coat and bag! Arggh! Their clothes are quite lovely on her so I cant hold a grudge- but a boy can only treted like a manslave" so many times without venting! _BB

Posted by Bryan Bulger on January 5 at 1:47 PM

I recently received a Gemma Redux bracelet as a gift, and I love it! The combination of interwoven chains and hanging gems suits my personality perfectly- complex and evolving. It's weight is bold and assertive, without being confrontational. The way it folds around my wrist is decidedly sexy and feminine without being dainty. I wear it whenever I need a compliment. I love telling people how unique it is and all about the designer's background and her commitment to being a U.S.-based business. Thanks, Rachel! Best wishes to Gemma Redux!

Posted by hyunsoo kim on January 13 at 11:57 PM

While everything represented is so beautiful, I have to vote for Alkemie. It's really the only stuff I feel good wearing. I never get tired of it. It's classic and progressive.

Posted by CT3 on January 14 at 12:13 AM

Go Alkemie! I love the concept of reusing metals and materials that would otherwise go to further pollute our planet. But in addition to the mission, Alkemie is cool, funky, and elegant all at once. Texture, balance, and flow are allso important, and they know how to incorporate everything for a really progressive and beautiful line.

Most refreshing, sustainable can also mean fashionable !!!

I have checked out all of the designers and most of them seam to be very talented, but the one that stuck out to me was Eko-Lab. after reading their interview there just seams to be something that's just right about the six different designers working together, a sum is greater then there parts type of thing. From their bold and daring designs to the eco friendly way they go about delivering them to us the girls from Eco-Lab struck just the right nerve with me.
